Work the draft. That is the whole idea, and it is the least romantic thing anybody will tell you about writing a book: you put the harness on, you walk the row, and the row does not care how you feel about it. The horse and nib are printed full-width across the back in a single bone ink, with a small version of the same mark on the left chest. Heavyweight garment-dyed cotton, washed down before it is cut so the black arrives already faded and stays there.
